Małgorzata Pietrzykowska is currently completing her PhD studies at the Music Academy of Łódź under Prof. Jolanta Gzella. She graduated with honours from the Music Academy of Łódź, completing her BA and MA in vocal and acting studies Download the Innocent Tour.
She made her debut as Prince Orlofsky in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus at the Music Theatre in Łódź (2011). She has appeared as Princess in Wojciech Młynarski’s Cień (2012), Magda in Włodzimierz Korcz’s Lodz Story (2013), Baroness in Franz Lehar’s Das Land des Lachelns at the Music Theatre in Łódź (2013), Berta in G hello neighbor. Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia (2014) at the Grand Theatre in Łódź. She also sang alto part in Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater (2013), mezzosoprano part in Camille Saint-Saens’ Oratorio de Noel under Kai Bumann (The Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic in Łódź, 2015) and in Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms under Jose Maria Florencio (The Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic in Łódź, 2016) rusty lake hotel.
Małgorzata Pietrzykowska is a laureate of the 9th International Vocal Competition Golden Voices in Warsaw (third prize, 2013). She also received the distinction at the Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition in Katowice (2015) and at the Iwona Borowicka Vocal Competition in Kraków (2016) 슬픈남자. She was a finalist of the Pustina Intenational Vocal Competition in Czech Republic (2013) and contestant of the 9th Moniuszko International Vocal Competition in Warsaw (2016) Bucks Music.
Upcoming performances include Juno in Georg Friedrich Händel’s Semele at the Grand Theatre in Łódź (April, 2017).
