    An outstanding soprano, her repertoire includes almost 50 leading opera parts and an extensive oratorio and cantata repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music Download The Imitator. She studied at the State Higher School of Music in Warsaw, from which she graduated with honours and received the Kazimierz Czekotowski Prize.     She has appeared in Amsterdam, Hanover, Dortmund, Leipzig, Dresden, Berlin, Hamburg, Zurich, Bern, the Skopje Opera in Macedonia, London, Glasgow, the Vatican, Tallinn, Seoul and Degau (South Korea), Caracas in Venezuela, São Paulo in Brazil, Detroit (Michigan Opera Theater), Buffalo, New York, and Osaka. She has performed in San Paolo in Italy and Münster in Germany. She is a successful concert singer, performing in works such as Stabat Mater by Dvořák, Szymanowski, and Pergolesi, Mozart’s Grand Mass in C Minor, Verdi’s Requiem, Bach’s Magnificat, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. She is famous for her interpretation of the soprano parts in the oratorios of Górecki, Kilar, and Penderecki.

    She is associated with many Polish and European festivals (Warsaw Autumn, Wratislavia Cantans, Maastricht Festival, Festival of Contemporary Music in Alicante, and others). Her output includes numerous CDs as well as radio and television recordings. In 1999 she received the Award of the Minister of Culture and Art for achievements in vocal music, and in 2000 – the Andrzej Hiolski Award for the best opera role in the 1999/2000 season. She is also a recipient of the Gloria Artis Medal for service to culture. At present she is also a teacher at the University of Music in Warsaw. She is the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera’s casting director as well as teaching singing in the Opera Academy programme.
